vsunlimited
I can't figure it out how to deal with it when we have two OS. WinXP changes the BIOS' clock to the same as your time zone. But OSX changes the BIOS' clock to GMT time. How to make it work together ?
jgrimes80
Do you have the OSX linked to a time zone in the System Preferences? That would cause it to be change to GMT every time... in case you don't know what I'm talking about .... Open System Preferences Click on "Date and Time" at the bottom Click on the Tab "Time Zones" If it's wrong, click on the map to get to the time zone you want... or type in a city
vsunlimited
sorry for my bad English. again, my problem is when I set OSX TimeZone to Thailand GMT+7. so OSX change the BIOS to my localtime -7 , or GMT. so when I switch to WinXP it read the time from BIOS. So it show GMT instead of my localtime.

belgrano
Thanks triplex! Adding that it's pretty handy... I used a small app called Time Sync, but I like your "hack" better
belgrano
Unfortunately although windoze do syncronize with internet servers on reboot, it seems that after 3.4 hours of running it returns to its default way of showing the time (that is 3 hours behind OS X...) and a manual setting is needed. Well, back to my TimeSync until a viable solution is found...
triplex
Unfortunately you right . In spite of the fact that I've switched off window's time syncronization service the problem still exists Where did you get Timesync?
Korrupted
Make a batch file with this: w32tm /resync exit Then stick it in your startup folder.
