FireWire Audiophile drivers on Snowleopard.

So I got Snow Leopard up and running.

But will 32 bit Leopard drivers work on 64 bit Snow Leopard?

Or will installing Leopard drivers mess up my install?

Do you have to install drivers to be able to use the soundcard in leopard? My terratec firewire x24 is core audio compatible, so I need no drivers, it works oob in snow leopard using both 64 and 32 bit kernels. However, if I want to install and use the terratec control panel program, then I have to run it in the 32 bit kernel.

Odd, my Inspire works out of the box in 64bit. Shouldn't core audio recognize firewire audio automatically?

Anyway, good luck with that lad.
