AndreaGalileo Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 A very strange thing just happened; my iPhone 2G just sim-unlocked itself after a normal iTunes update. My iPhone was AT&T locked and after updating from 2.2 to 3.0.1 i could use my Swisscom sim without jailbreaking it. Under "carrier" i have: Swisscom 7.0 (it was "Carrier 4.0 when jailbroken). Under version 2.2 my iPhone was jailbroken/unlocked. I did an update (not restore). What happened? Thanks! Btw, Swisscom is an official iPhone carrier.
