Galaxy613 Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 I'm in the market for a PC Laptop to either dual boot, or just convert to a Hackinbook. I do not like Mini Laptops such as the Dell 10v and other EeePCs, and the majority of information on the Wiki seems to be only for desktop setups. If anyone could give suggestions that'll be great, I want to keep within the $400-600 range. But above all I want to know that someone has had good experiences with them and there are instructions out there. Additionally, I found this HP laptop on sale at a Store nearby for only $500. But I haven't been able to get any info whether or not this particular model works or not. It seems the processor will be fine but I haven't seen anything on the 4300m intergrated Intel graphics chip.
