Yes, GeForce715 , thanks , I noticed that nobody does !

But I finally figure it out ,here is how I did it , since nobody tried to help!

I took any kext related to sound out the System/ Library/ Extensions directory

then, with the help of OX86 tools , I installed the AC97 audio kext

reboot computer

and it fixed the problem!

If anybody out there has the same problem , and needs the help, or the kext for this audio , let me know here and I will post it , or you can search it , it is easy to find , easy to fix.

Hello , sorry for not responding , but here it is what I done with my system to work , I hope it will help someone ! By no means am I an expert on this , but I tried so many times that I finally got it! Even tho no body tried to help me when I needed help , all I did was read for so many hours, any ways , here it is:

Installation Set up

Bootloader: Chameleon V2

Extra Directory : Checked

DSDT: Checked

Decryptors: Do not remember on this one, safe not to, maybe

SMBIOS: None

Kernels: 9.7 Voodoo

ACPI: none

Disablers: checked

OHR: checked

DRIVERS

Video: None, cause I have an old Nvidia, if you have one on list check that,

SATA/ IDE: Check the one that supports all ICH's

Intell speedsteper: only if you have intell cpu, I had an old P4 ,

CArd Bus None

USB: None

Sound: None

PS/2: Apple PS/2

Network: if you have wireless : I had broadcom 4306, choose your right one

then , once done, install , at reboot, start with -f , you will have no audio, graphics will be there , but not that great. but first uninstall all audio kext in your folder.

then install the AC97 . kext with kexthelper or other installer. Then if want better graphics install the Video package NvKush if you have an old Nvidia video card like me. That's it ! I hope this helps!

let me know how it works! I tried to attached the audio and graphics files but for some reason it did not allowed me, maybe cause I am not one the " gods" here ! hahaha, but if you search it you will find it :(

If its too much trouble its understandable haha

Hi Randy C

I installed the AC97.kext , as I mentioned on my last posting .Triy to remove all of the audio related kexts first , if you read my earlier posts , I explained what I did and what programs to use. It is really easy. If I can do it , I am sure any body else can............ :)

HI gnargnar,

Yes , if you installation was good , and you started it with -f , then it should be no problem , the reason you have that error is cause maybe you have another drive or USB attached to your computer and when your BIOS setup starts up , it tries to read from it, try to disconnect any drives you have, and reboot computer , start with -f, and it should work.

I hope it helps.............. :P

did you get it to work?

otherwise, try to install ac97.kext (google it) then using a kext helper(google it again) install the kext and reboot with -f.

thats how i did to get my audio to work.

however i'm still having a trouble installing enabler for nvidia card...tried both nvkush and nvinjectgo.

gosh this is pretty hard..ahah
