alexylee
Ok, I've updated to 10.6.4. Some problems came out as I die the update (with combo update file). Problems: 1. I got blue screen when boot. 2. Use -f to boot. Slower and has shut down problem. Fixes: 1. Delete DSDT.aml and add the "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" and "VBIOS=Yes" Siblings in com.apple.boot.plist. This is the simple way I've used. Or: 2. Use DSDT.aml and NO GraphicsEnabler! (Not yet test if the power off has issue.) 3. In BOIS setting select Share Memory to 512MB. 4. Use EvOreboot.kext instead of OpenHaltRestart.kext. Now this fixed boot and shut down problems on 10.6.4. You may try in your own risk. P.S.: Update the ION330 HT/PRO BIOS to 1.2 will also fix the Legacy USB problem!!!
RobertJB
I confirm that it works. Shotdown is no OK as well. Also the USB 2.0 is working. great up for the next think. I'm sorry but I can not find the time do to a full and nice install instruction so this is the cut and past dirty one. The system I have is the ION330 Pro with bios version 1.10 now it has been updated to 1.20. Set the bios setting to what janco1999 has done on the fist page of the attached link. http://www.hackint0sh.org/f152/110230.htm I used Iportable on a USB drive. After Iportable runs I installed the retail OSX 10.6 DVD in the disk drive and did the installation on the HD of the ION330. After the installation I installed the cameleon bootloader. Now restart the system. If correct all items should run. Install the DTST of alexyle in the extra folder. follow the update instructions of the attached link. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=197020 I have mine running at 10.6.4. with hyper treading on it has optical 7.1 audio internet, USB, eSata, VGA and HDMI (also at the same time) power down. I use the system for PLEX and can do HD 720p and 1080p. I hope this does help. Good luck.

The sound volume in my machine is too small though. By the way, has anyone used a remote control? What is the best remote control on this board? Thanks for the advice. Sorry I did a type-o I can only confirm that it does 6.1 as my Yamaha amp is 6.1. I use your drivers with your DSDT file. Not yet used a remote control this is the next I will go for. Probabaly the standard Mac remote and also a Ipad with some remote app for controlling iTunes. Then the TV does not have to be on to select the right songs. I have only a 2.1 sound system. By the way, I use Wii remote with Remote Buddy but it's not very convenient. And I use HDMI plug with full HDTV (1080p). alexylee
Please do not upgrade to 10.6.5, for it causes USB not working anymore. The IOUSB kexts from 10.6.4 do not fix this issue.

Alexylee, thanks for the heads up. I had the problem some weeks ago and was in the lucky situation that I have two identical systems so I could make a CCC from system 1 and restore it to system 2. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...7020&st=258 When I look at the above link it states that it should be possible to upgrade to 10.6.5 When somebody has good results with 10.6.5 and the Asrock please let me know. itdoesnotwork
A question for you guys running 10.6.6 on 330 Pro (if there is somebody): What do you use to get QE/CI working? Running 10.6.4 I used a DSDT (not sure where I got it), that doesn't inject graphics but allows complete shutdown. To get QE/CI working I had GraphicsEnabler, VBIOS = Yes in Chameleon 3 RC3 Bootloader. I also had NVEnabler in my Extra/Extensions folder. After updating to 10.6.6 the boot process just stopped (without errors). Seemed to boot normally, but didn't load GUI. I found out this was due to the GraphicsEnabler flag and so set it to "No". Only way for me to get QE/CI is Alexyles DSDT, which injects graphics and audio perfectly, but breaks shutdown. For me, there is no point in holding the power button for shutdown because, interestingly enough, this sometimes resets my BIOS settings. NVEnabler didn't work in 10.6.6 either:Location is E/E: no QE/CI; Location is S/L/E: boot stops as with GraphicsEnabler (+NVEnabler reports an unknown Video Device) If you're trying to get USB working: replace 10.6.6 kext with the ones I uploaded. Try with Chameleon 2RC5 and GraphicsEnabler=Yes. It works on my ASROCK MCP7a mobo. Does this kexts solve problem with usb eject on wake? @alexyllee If you want to fix legacy usb just use USBLegacyFix=Yes, but that don't solve problems with eject usb on wake. BTW i don't know why you using VBIOS=Yes if you don't have VBIOS(you don't need it if it's unmodified) file?
itdoesnotwork
Sadly GraphicsEnabler=Yes doesn't work for me with any version of Chameleon... Don't know if the kext solves the USB Eject on Wake issue - haven'T tried enabling sleep yet. I think they won't fix it, as they're just the original 10.6.4 kexts.
