tibetfreedom
I have a few real macs and one of them the Graphics card is bust. Unfortunately Apple have 3-4 month lead time on replacement ..... So Is there any way I can put a generic ATI PCI Express Card in the Mac and get it to work with full CI etc ? or will this not work ? Thanks... Mac requires a special bit of code in the bios for the card to funcion properly. This can be emulated, but at a performance cost...and I don't think it's entirely legal from the Apple EULA standpoint. ATi came out with a HD 3870 for both PC and Mac. It's PCI-e. Pick that up. Idk if nVidia's got anything for mac, but this would probably be better than anything else 3rd party/aftermarket that's designed to work specifically with a Mac
