bradley.
My laptop's keyboard is the standard US keyboard, layout-wise. There is no key between the z and the shift, however, it says there is. It puts the key that is generally beside of the 1 in this place, even though there is no key there. On the key on my laptop beside of the 1, it shows § and (shift) ± when I use it, instead of ` and (shift) ~. I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue or what, so, forgive me. Please move the topic if it's not. I'm a newbie to osx86 and such. It works fine on my external keyboard, except the Option and Alt keys are switched on it, but it's right on the on screen layout, and not a problem for me. I need to be able to type in French for some things, and I need to be able to access the dead key ` (option + `) so I can make letters such as à and è and such. If you need any information, just ask. Is there anyway to get the laptop's keyboard to be recognized to be like the bottom one instead of the top in this image?
