rsilves
Hi. I have this: Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 4850 512MB. Dell 2007FP (DVI, etc). Samsung 2032NW (VGA). I want to make it work in dual monitors mode but it's not possible yet. So, my second option is to change to a better card. I want to know which cards you recommend me (ATI or NVIDIA), similar or better than the HD4850, which let me have dual monitors. I also want to know if it would be possible to have my Samsung (VGA) as the main monitor and the Dell (DVI) as the second one. (That's because I want to use the Dell for color grading in Apple Color). Thank you. Rodrigo And just 2 tiny doubts I have: Is the driver different for 2 cards with the same chip (i.e. HD4850) but manufactured by different companies (i.e. Sapphire, MSI, etc)? Is the driver different for 2 cards with the same chip but with different connectors or positions (i.e. 1DVI 2HDMI 3VGA / 1DVI 2HDTV 3DVI)? rsilves
read this http://netkas.org/?p=116 I've already read it. That's for Dual DVI. Not for DVI + VGA. I think I'll change my 4850 for another 4850 with 2 DVI ports, and change my VGA monitor for a DVI one. Thanks, Rodrigo
