3. To fix the reboot / shutdown issue; well, I'm not 100% positive how I solved it. I think after failing with OpenHaltRestart.kext, I found it seemed to be a kext-within-a-kext, so extracted it and used the inner one in EFI/Extras. I hope that makes sense and I'm remembering correctly! When I am at home, I'll bundle up what I use to make it easier.

Hey, I hope this isn't too rude, but did you ever finish making that bundle? I have a MP-965 that is close enough to the MP-945 specs that this would probably work... I gave up the last time I tried, but this thread has re-inspired me.

Thanks,

Sean

Does someone still use this AOpen MP965-D?

I got (the MP965DR version, but it's almost the same) one because it isn't being used anymore (damn this thing is old)

I don't know the specs because I haven't hooked it up yet, I guess it's pretty standard. 80GB HDD and standard CPU.

But when I lookup the specs, I get this:

UWbWi9n.png

It says Intel GMA 3100, I thought this videocard doesn't support QE/CI?

Could I install vanilla Yosemite, El Capitan or even Sierra on it? (I probably need to upgrade the CPU for Sierra)

What guide could I use best? And what kexts or dsdt do I need to use?
