I'm trying to figure out how can I enable the 64 bit application support in 10.5.7 It is a new macbook pro (got it couple of weeks ago) so it's C2D for sure. I've read about the trick with the chess app, but unfortunatly there is no 32bit option in preferences. If I run "arch" in terminal I see that the kernel is i686. I want to install Houdini Apprentice(3d graphics software), but it's 64bit only application. Is there a way to force the 64bit support some how?
