kayoone Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 Hi there, has anyone got a HD4870X2 fully working with both DVIs ? I can only boot into the OS in the standard VESA mode, all tries to install various drivers have failed. There seem to be some solutions on netkas site, but to be honest, you seem to need 4-5 different archives and do alot of stuff which i really find quite confusing, so i couldnt get it to work. Can anyone tell me the exact steps to get in working on 10.5.6 or even 10.5.7 if i have to install that. I really want to use my HD4870X2, so i can also install Windows to play some games, right now i have a GF 8600GT in the hackintosh which works perfectly well, but its ultra slow compared to the HD4870X2. Last chance would be to replace the Ati card with a modern Geforce like the GTX280 or something, those should work without big problems i guess.
