arcticemerald Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 I have installed iPC 10.5.6 on one hard drive, and linux and Windows XP on another. I have tried to add OS X to grub but when try to boot into mac from the grub screen I get Error 17: Cannot Mount Partition. I suspect it is very self explanatory and Linux is having trouble mounting the drive. I looked into partitioner and it looks like Mac created two partitions. One of which is a boot partition. The boot partition is formated in FAT while the other is HFS. I have edited the menu.lst file and I get the same error message no matter whether I boot from the boot partition or the operating system partition. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
