Komet Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 Hey, ive recently installed XxX OSX 10.4.11 XxX onto my HP Compaq nc6000 notebook (Specs: 1.6Ghz Pentium M (Intel SpeedStep) SSE2, 60Gig HDD, 1G RAM & Ati Mobility Radeon 9600 32meg) and while the installation went well and all, my fan just wont stfu. I tried using ACPICPU v1 throttling but then when it boots it pauses (permanently) when it tries to load the application so ive got to re-install again...the laptops really old and the last thing i want is for the fan to die, plus its quite irritating, any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance EDIT: Ive looked at the other posts relating to this and none of them seem to answer my issue so im just asking directly.
