mikecwest Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 First of all, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I am not quite sure where to post this question, or where to direct my search. I have tried many times to locate software that does what I am looking for, however I can not find it for the Macintosh. A few windows apps can do it, however from the ones that I have found, it does it poorly. I need an app that can perform, what seems like it should be a simple task. When a digital photograph is taken, it stores the date/time of the photo in the EXIF data, amongst other bits of info. I only need the time/date. I need a mac app that can insert this time/date stamp onto the photo in a uniform manner. (so that a set of photos will have a standard date/stamp, similar to the way it looks when you are playing back a surveillance or home video tape.) If at all possible, I would like one that does the same to DV imported via firewire. I would of course prefer a freeware/shareware app that is designed for this purpose, as I do not need any photo editing capabilities beyond what can be done in iPhoto. I am not asking for any illegal "links," a link to freeware/shareware is fine, or if anyone knows of a commercial app, just the name of the app would of great help. I am sure that someone/somewhere knows which app can do this, and I am sure that one must exist. I know I am not the only one with these needs. In the past I have seen windows apps that claim to do it, however are quite expensive and come with many extra features. I am skeptical of overpriced shareware that can not be tested before purchase.
