Io stesso ho quel "Problema" ho gia' chiesto ma ancora non mi hanno risposto...

Normalmente si dovrebbero apparire i valori per i vari voltaggi...

Dopo tutte queste modifiche fatte come stiamo con Geekbench????XDXD

Qualcuno mi dice gentilmente dove posso trovare lspcidrv.kext ??^^

 

Ciao Phoenix! Vai nel thread in inglese ufficiale sulla p6t deluxe e snow e scaricati il pacchetto dell'extra...non ricordo se in quello del 1° post(la guida vera e propria) o nel post 123 (dove fecero un aggiornamento corposo a dsdt e kexts).

Lì comunque c'è!

VoodooPState.kext

 

Ehm...no...nel pacchetto scaricato da me non è menzionato...provvedo!

Buonasera compagni di scheda :D.

 

Continuo con le sperimentazioni voglio aggiugere il secondo metodo per il P-State.

Ho gia' raggiunto l'obbiettivo sul mio processore(i7 940) LINK

 

Ora avrei bisogno del vostro aiuto, per estrarre le tabelle SSDT su una piastra che monta il 920.

 

Io ho tirato fuori 16 Tabelle.

 

Chi puo' postarle? Il metodo piu' semplice su Windows e' con Everest.

Se le estraete almeo potro' fare l'eqivalente DSDT per il 920...

 

E dopo di questo test mi restera' ancora da provare a inserire l'eqivalente dell'SSDT del MacPro4,1... su 3 basi sisperimenta meglio :wacko:

 

 

 

lspcidrv.kext provate a cancellarlo dalla cartella Extra se non erroserve solo per l'omonimo programma... comunque provare non nuoce.

Ciao Fabio! X quanto riguarda il kext Lspci non solo è totalmente removibile...ma l'omonimo comando continua a funzionare. Ho appena notato di averne uno anche in /System/Libraries/Extensions...mi sa che è arrivato il momento del formattone !!!

Per quanto riguarda Everest, purtroppo in questo momento Windows nemmeno ce l'ho installato!!! Se domani m'arriva il disco e-sata provvederò al volo...è da un pezzo che lo sto aspettando e proprio x metter win :-(

Hi iFabio,

 

First wanna say Thanks for your good job with DSDT.aml to the Core i7 920. It worked fine here in my hackintosh 10.6. This is the first time I'm using the native AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. Second I got some error msgs I would like to share with you when using Snow 10.6.2 although power management still seems to be working.

 

My config:

Asus P6T Deluxe V2 + latest bios

Core i7 920 @ Stock

4 Gb DDR3 @ 1600mhz

Geforce GTS 250

250 Gb Hard disk

 

Only using this kexts:

 

AD2000b.kext

OpenHaltRestart.kext

fakesmc.kext

 

Error Msgs:

 

1- I think I only got this one in 10.6.2:

 

Sound assertion "0 == pciVendorProductID" failed in "/SourceCache/AppleHDA/AppleHDA-179.1.4/AppleHDAController/AppleHDAController.cpp" at line 2682 goto Exit

 

2- Always got this one don't know what it is:

 

** AppleSMBusPCI::start failed to get acpi path for provider

 

3- Only got this warning in 10.6.2 but everything seems to be working fine

check in ioreg if there is an appleSMBusPCI under PCI0, otherwise you need to add it in your dsdt

Confermo che cancellando ogni referenza nei kext ad lspci, semplicemente toglie la possibilità di usare l'omonimo comando. Non noto altri cambiamenti.

Quindi, in breve, sembrano essere necessari solo:

 

-FakeSMC

-AD2000b

-Openhaltrestart

Hi Scrax, Thanks for your help. I found a fix for this problem in the projectosx forum. It's a new version of ad200b.kext

 

 

 

check in ioreg if there is an appleSMBusPCI under PCI0, otherwise you need to add it in your dsdt

 

I found some info about the AppleSMBusPCI problem in the projectosx forum too. I'm noob in hackintosh but It seems not to be a big problem.

 

 

 

Here i think because iFabio didn't use the Turbo p-State if i'm correct.

 

Strangely when a use 10.6.2 and Overclock my Cpu to 3.6 ghz this warning disappears.

 

Anyway, thanks for your time.

First of all thank's for your functionally feedback.

 

second things: How I say in old post the new BIOS works well but need old table because the new table inside the new bios use different allocation memory (for the moment the work around is use old adapted table).

 

3th: Anyway the last P-State bios post are EXPERIMENTAL. (no turbo mode inside) Just standard mode.

Pls. tell me if you have problem with audio... maybe I make a different version without HDEF and use HDAEnabler kext to replace this stuff.

 

Yesterday night I start test on a different method for the P-State this is the link.

 

Work's well on my system! this week-end... I try convert for 920 CPU's (thank's fc bayern for 920 SSDT table dump!).

Grazie! A dire il vero io uso gia' quel .kext (non sapevo esistesse una versione diversa), molte delle fix e adattamenti al DSDT li cerco su quel sito.

Thank's for the tips! I use this kext from the first snow installation... probably for this reason I never see that audio problem.

 

Spero che il problema che qualcuno ha con l'audio si adovuta a questa differenza di kext... provate e scrivete la vostra.

I hope is simply this the issue.. if not pls reply.

Se serve qualche info da everest, ci sono, dammi solo le direttive.

 

Una domanda a tutti: vorrei evitare che macosx mi montasse le 2 partizioni del disco win sul desktop tutte le volte: ho trovato modo di rimuoverle dal finder ma non dal desktop...sapete come si fa?

Già! Risulterebbero files nascosti! Non ci avevo proprio pensato,ora provo!

 

Edit: ho provato, funziona, ma purtroppo Win7 fa boot da una piccola partizione da 100mb che crea automaticamente in fase d'installazione e quella non è stato possibile rinominarla: da win non è accessibile, da OSX x poterci scrivere, occorre prima di tutto attivare il supporto NTFS aggiungendola in /etc/fstab, ma in quella stringa occorre l' UUID. X qualche motivo OSX non ha affibiato UUID a quella partizione.

Ho risolto dicendo ad osx di non caricare i dischi interni sul desktop, e poi ho creato gli alias solo a quelli che mi servivano.

Molto bene sto facendo alcuni test su questo differente metodo del P-State...

Ho inserito la modalita' TURBO standard di questa mobo, un piccolo FIX dell'audio...

Sul tardi posto la versione per il 920.

Provato con successo su Snow Leopard 10.6.2 e su Leopard 10.5.8, le versioni precedenti non saprei.

Tested successfully on Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and 10.5.8 Leopard, earlier versions...I don't know.

 

In questa nuova versione sono contenute tutte le FIX introdotte fino ad ora, ho aggiunto una miglioria proposta da THe KiNG.

This new version contains all fixes made so far, I added an improvement proposed by THe KiNG.

 

Il P-state qui proposto usa un diverso metodo di implementazione utilizzando il dump delle tabelle SSDT dell'Hardware della P6t Deluxe.

The P-state proposed here use a different method of deployment using the dump of SSDT from P6T Deluxe hardware.

 

Ricordati di attivare la funzione TURBO nel tuo BIOS! Si questo DSDT l'ho equipaggiato con un Over clock minimo che ha di base il BIOS.

Remember to activate the TURBO function in your BIOS! Inside this DSDT you have a little Overclock that has a minimum base the BIOS.

 

Non ho idea di come si comporti il sistema se possiedi una configurazione gia' overcloccata (pesantemente).

I have no idea how does the system if you have a configuration already overclocked (heavily).

 

Come nella precedente versione anche questa non presenta errori per la gestione dell'HDEF (il dispositivo audio), controlla se hai la versione aggiornata dell'AD2000D.Kext,

Controlla anche in S/L/E che il tuo AppleHDA.kext sia quello originale e non sia quello patchato.

As in the previous version even this DSDT does not present errors for the management of HDEF (Audio device),then... check if you have the latest version of AD2000D.Kext,

also look into S/L/E that your AppleHDA.kext both the original and not patched version :(.

 

Sul mio sistema ho notato un discreto aumento di prestazioni e un aumento di punteggio con Geekbench (vicino ai 9500 punti).

On my system I noticed a slight increase in performance and an increase in score with Geekbench (close to 9500 points).

 

Anche con questa versione avrai bisogno di soli 3 .kext nella tua cartella Extra. Compreso il PlatformUUID.kext (Sempre se usi Chameleon 2 RC4).

Even with this version you'll need only 3. Kext in your Extra folder. Including PlatformUUID.kext (Chameleon 2 RC4).

 

Assicurati di avere il file SMBIOS.plist aggiornato con i dati per il corretto caricamento della CPU, e della frequenza del tuo processore,e sopratutto che venga iniettato un MACPro4,1.

Make sure you have the file SMBIOS.plist updated for the proper loading of the CPU, and the frequency too, and above all that is injected by a MACPro4,1 VERY IMPORTANT

 

Se vuoi verificare il funzionamento dei p-State o semplicemente gestirli manualmente puoi usare P-Statechanger (Solo per Snow Leopard), aggiungi il VoodooPstate.kext.

If you want to check the operation of the p-state or just run them manually you can use P-Statechanger (Only for Snow Leopard), add the VoodooPstate.kext.

iFabio, Thanks for the new DSDT.

 

 

I tested in my 10.6.2 at Stock Speed. No more "WARNING: ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop::initCPUCtrlLoop - turbo enabled but no turbo P-state found" Turbo mode functioning, checked with voodoopstate fully loading to 2.8 Ghz.

 

GeekBench64 Stock speed =>9267

 

Also tested overclocking my CPU to 3.6 Ghz (18 X 200). Working very stable! I ran mprime64 for around an hour no errors or problems found.

 

GeekBench64 @ 3.6 Ghz =>11495

iFabio, Thanks for the new DSDT.

 

 

I tested in my 10.6.2 at Stock Speed. No more "WARNING: ACPI_SMC_CtrlLoop::initCPUCtrlLoop - turbo enabled but no turbo P-state found" Turbo mode functioning, checked with voodoopstate fully loading to 2.8 Ghz.

 

GeekBench64 Stock speed =>9267

 

Also tested overclocking my CPU to 3.6 Ghz (18 X 200). Working very stable! I ran mprime64 for around an hour no errors or problems found.

 

GeekBench64 @ 3.6 Ghz =>11495
