aetherzz Posted July 9, 2009 Share Posted July 9, 2009 mate I tried gfx strings with 3 different 4850s (asus, gigabyte and powercolor). Moreover, if you do not install netkas's kext you wont get qe for sure. as you can see on the second picture which you posted shows atix2000 installed already so you do not really need any gfx strings. Does it have fan problems? or any other issues? I've read alot of posts about cards working QE/CI, but then having problems with cooling... Man Wish I would have known this instead of getting my card! Now all I need to know is if this is going to work in Snow Lepord and its Golden! Before I start the install is it good to remove all ATI*.kext with rm -r ATI* ? Where does 4870.plist belong after its edited? Thanks for help. Where did you get ATY_Motmot.kext? Opps... Call of Duty 4 MAC work fine. ecc.. my cod4 for mac is not working nice..i installed kext following steps in the other 48xx topic..all is enabled on my 4850, but when i play cod4 the framerate is really far from windows frame rate.. using cod4 mac i have always 30 40 framerate max(rarely 60)..in windows also 150 with same options Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
