ReiszRie Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 Hi, i'm over-hauling my aging computer and i'm planning on getting the following components which i'll like to find out whether they'll be compatible with OSX86 (whichever distro) DFI LanParty Blood Iron P45-T2RS Intel Core2Quad Q8400 with my current MSI nVidia GeForce 9600GT (O.C. Edition) (i'm also considering the following motherboards "Asus P5Q SE-Plus or Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR" depending on which could give me the best compatibility though i'll still have preferred the DFI Blood Iron if it works ) Thanks for the time and all help will be appreciated. Zaap Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 Check here under Hardware Compatibility Lists/Components- specifically the lists from 10.5.2 (one of the most complete) to the current 10.5.7 (very incomplete). Look up each motherboard and reported methods of install- should help with your decision. The Q8400 will work fine, and the 9600GT should work fine with 10.5.6 and up.
