Blaxx77
Hi guys, I successfully manged to Install iAktos V7 10.5.7. I got it running on Vanilla Kernel. Added EFI Strings for my 8800 GTX and Ethernet. Everything runs smooth.. I got problems however connecting/authorizing in Itunes. I read in the web that it has something to do with my network interface beeing mapped to bsd name "en2" instead of "en0". How can I change that to "en0" ? I checked that en0 and en1 are not in use (iconfig). Strange that it gets mapped to "en2".. Ah btw. my MoBo is a GA-p35-DQ6 rev 1.0. Help is greatly appreciated ! Thanks! cacau.yeah
A simple way to reset your network interfaces is to remove NetworkInterfaces.plist file. If you wanna try just type it in terminal and give your admin password: sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist Then reboot, so the system will recreate this file with default interfaces and addresses, than you can delete the interfaces that you don't need in network preferences. I did it many times, and it works here! Cya...
