Hi Guys I got a ATI x1650 x071C6 256mb PCI ...

and i'm using iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 Final

when i was installing it i don't find any driver for ati x1650 series !

now the graphics doesn't work well

 

what can i do ?!! i need a driver or somthing ?!!!!! :(

i need a simple step-by-step explanation

 

please help me

Mate, there's a driver on IPC for your device id!

I can't say that it will work for sure but, there's one you missed :(

aha !! :D

i don't know what can i say !!

but i focused on 1XXX series not on the ID

but my device is x1650 and that is x1000 ( but that's my ID )

is it work !!!?

No problem. That's a mistake any noob (as in newbie) can make. And those drivers should be mentioned in IPC as "x1xxx series", as the major difference on them is "device id". x1xxx series would include x1650.

The important thing is device id! For instance: my card is a x1600 dev id 7181 but, in fact it uses a rv516 gpu, used by x1300 and x1550 cards. So i have to patch it like if i were patching a x1300 that uses a different framebuffer than x1600 cards.. and the system recognizes it as a x1300.

Try that one and if it doesn't work, send me a pm.
