jumbochilli Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 Hi all, As the topic title says, I have "ideneb 10.5.6" installed on my Acer aspire 4720 laptop. Since I've read lots of posts regarding wifi connections and hassles, I decided to get wifi adapter which is "mac" compatible. Driver installation was good and so were reboot etc, and a few seconds after I plugged the dongle into the laptop, it clearly stated "connected" what a joy!, but I couldn't get online, there was no connection in "system preferance-network" available even the dongle said it was connected. Besides, when on diagnostic mode, other than "ethernet" option, all rests are greyed. Did I get wrong adapter? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
