I've been trying the native x86 VLC port, I've found the link on the wiki. I get several errors and completely messed up colors when trying to play some divx/xvid avis. The PPC port works fine, albeit slowly. Does the same apply to you ? <_<

If you go to preferences->video->output module then select Quartz (remember to tick the advanced box in the bottom left corner of the screen)

This should resolve the issue, I have an intel 915 though, the automatic setting was trying to use open gl, which gave me a similar green colour.
