I have a disc for Mac OS X Leopard so I popped it into my iMac and tried installing.

Did a successful install and then it sat there forever and nothing happened.

I ran it loading with command+v verbose.

And it kept looping saying Library/Application Support/logKext/logkext Daemon[92]: Error finding passKey in keychain (-25300). Failing

and some other line.

I couldn't find my 10.5 disc around my house so I tried using a OSx86 disc and it didn't work at all.

Halp me?

Your disc is probably scratched. OSX86 discs will never work because they need to be booted from a PC.

I'm fairly sure the disc isn't scratched. Looks perfect to my eye.

I tried another upgrade install and got nothing.

None the less, what can I do? I lost the 10.4 discs I had for this mac.

It could be the DVD drive damaged, like the laser not reading properly. If you have a real Mac why not take it to the Apple Store for repairs?
