Upgrading my Comp to prepare for hackintosh!

Hello.

Today my comp suffered a painfull death when my GFX card started artifacting all over the place.

It was an old 8800GTS and had served me well.

Im in the process of gutting an old G5 case and building it to fit a i7 system fully watercooled. And i was gona build a new machine in it when it was done. Now it seems i need to start a bit early. My plan was to go for a X58 chipset (i have read here that its the best option?) Since they support both xfire and SLi, and since apple support both nvidia and AMD cards i guess the choise is just up to what i prefer?

I aslo noticed that you could get multiple nvidia cards on the Powermac but not multiple AMDs. Does this mean that SLI is easyer to get working than a xfire setup?

So basicly, what GFX card is the best pick if i want a easy Retailsetup in OS-X, and why?

My pick at is on a EVGA GTX 275, is this a good or bad choise?

For the rest of the hardware, my plan is to use a temporary 200gb HDD for the OS'es (gona move to a SSD (raid?) when they get cheaper.)

Mainboard im thinking of a Asus P6T Deluxe, and 12 or 24 gigs of DDR3ram. Any thought on this? the Asus seem to get good critics?
