Hi to all, i'm daveta, locmod of the italian section.

i've a big answer for the admins: which is the way to talk with you? i'm searching for it but in 10 days i've received only a general answer, also sending various and various PM

Why this distance from the staff?

is this a team or not?

please help me to understand!

Original administration has moved on, new admins (fubra) don't care.

Strongly disagree. I have found Ed to be a lot more friendly and obliging than some of the old administrators or moderators, who based their work either on personal vendetta, censorship or sheer incompetence. What would you call moderators who delete entire (good) threads because of a few trolling replies, instead of pruning them?
Not to mention their attitude, as if being a mod or an admin of the forum meant being a god, instead of serving the community.

I always try to be helpful, although my remit is only server/security related issues... If it's something desperate and you can't raise Ed (who is also pretty responsive usually) then give me a nudge and I'll pass the message on...

And, FYI the 'official' email address to use is 'contact@insanelymac.com'.

Hope this helps,

Mark
