jammycow
I'm really missing the ability to search for multiple files in a folder... I know this is really something that Spotlight is missing, but what i require, could I think be fed to an apple script. I need to find 100 specific files in amongst 1,000s. Is there any way to perform the search and label/copy/rename the files (ie, do something with them). The file names are already separated by a delimter. At the moment I run Sun's open source VirtualBox to run Windows, which has a network link to the root folder I want to search in, and I just use the search box to paste in a semi-colon delimited list. Vista/Win7 has the same problem as Spotlight - single file search. WinXP is still the only way I know how to do it. Any solutions?
