Hello guys, after a lot of frustration and constant perseverence , i succesfuly got my mac up adn running on a dell vostro 1400

if you could not boot with downloaded DVD

1. make some changes to the Bios, just keep playing

2. use -f -x -v modes to boot, in some cases use all of them at once

after you boot the DVD

customization:

donot select any video drivers from that .

select network drivers hopefully broadcom

use PCEFi boot loader

after you install .....

on your first boot , go with -s mode and

delete AppleIntelGMAX3100.kext

and AppleIntelGMAX3100FB.kext

reboot , now use -x

finish the initial setup

and then use the sleep display trick

download osx86 tools.....and let it do the rest for you

if you have any specific questions ...let me know..illl try to help

again i am a noob
