Can A Trojen Affect the MAC

Hi guys,,,

 

I just wanted to know whether a Trojen can affect the MAC.... Since i have downloaded some softies from Torrent and was said those softwares contain Trojens, i wanted to know... Someone i know told me that it could affect mac... Is it true..?

Only if it's written 'for' OSX, windows trojans can't affect osx in any way.

 

There are mac trojans lurking about but you probably got more chance in winning the lottery than actually getting one. Saying that though I read somewhere an ilife torrent was infected recently but apart from that they are extremely rare on the mac platform.

MacCinema is a common trojan for Macs, although you have to be looking at some random sites.

 

I have a copy if you want it :(

I highly doubt you are infected, the only trojans I know of are iServices and MacCinema.
