Federico2503 Posted June 14, 2009 Share Posted June 14, 2009 Hi everybody I'm new in this forum... i've just installed iwork 08 on my mac 10.5.5 and everything it's ok but when i open numbers or keynote I can't see anything and it says me that I have to reduce "colors" (which is in "system preferences/displays") from milions to thousands but when i go in system preferences/displays it shows me only milions. I have a sony vaio vgn-cr21z and the graphic is ati mobility radeon x2300. help me please!! thank's a lot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
user01100 Posted June 14, 2009 Share Posted June 14, 2009 Go to the apple logo on the left of the screen and click "About this Mac"...then "More info"...then in the window that appears go to "Graphics/Displays" and in the right tell if here is like this... Core Image: Hardware Accelerated or Supported and Quartz Extreme: Supported or Not Supported ...and if is like the second ones that's your problem...ci/qe not supported and need to find the "kexts" (driver) for that mobility card...i don't even know that is fully supported but don't listen me 'cause i didn't had one so i don't know that for sure...that's how you'll learn how mac os x operates...Hope i've helped...
