JBLanteigne Posted June 10, 2009 Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hi, This would be for my 2nd hackintosh and I currently use a EP45 gigabyte mobo so I know how well they go. I want a gigabyte mobo for my 2nd hackintosh as well! So, it is clear that the UD5 is the best and would fit my needs with os x and everything. But what about the lower end gigabytes mobos? Like the DS4 or UD4? Do they work the same with os x? Can I follow the UD5 guide with them without a problem? Thank you! Also: What would be a good card for 1080p (and over) video editing? When I built my first hack I've been told the best card was the ATI 3870... is today's best card the 4870 or 4890? or a geforce card? I don't mind ATI vs Geforce as long as the card does what I want.
