Dont seem to be getting much action over at the other forum, so help if you would. This seems the appropriate place.

Finally figured out how to do a linux dump...

For us new people..

cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#0

in the terminal of your favorite bootdisk of linux, Ubuntu for me...

Used the AppleHDAPatcher1.2, now i get something in the system profiler, but it still doesnt work. If anyone needs my dump, its attached. Attached File  dump.txt   4.28KB   0 downloads

Computer: emachines t5086
Device Id: 27d88086
Codec: SigmaTel STAC9221 A1
Vendor Id: 0x83847680
Subsystem Id: 0x107b6051
Revision Id: 0x103601

Help if you can. Thanks. -Jake
