My Palit 4870 card only has one DVI which is perfect for the Quail framebuffer instead of motmot for the Natit compatible with this frambuffer. Where can I download the Quail framebuffer? My 4870 is all working with 10.5.7 except for the sleep (even at least sleep for the monitor) and the netkas.org Natit (Quail compatible) Quail combo might fix this instead of the netkas.org Natit regular + motmot framebuffer. It does sleep perfectly when it's directly on VGA (the monitor uses a VGA to DVI dongle/adapter) but the resolution is only up to 1300 instead of the native 1440 (Graphics Mode plist edit doesn't work). zuz_242 Posted June 10, 2009 Share Posted June 10, 2009 i don´t know about the Quail framebuffer, but as far as i know you won´t get it as a single file but incorporated in other kext´s. so you need to look for a pack with this framebuffer ..
