ergosteur Posted June 4, 2009 Share Posted June 4, 2009 I was wondering if anyone has managed to get an Atheros MiniPCIe card to work in a Dell laptop. Please report success/failure! thanks. I have a Dell Inspiron 640m and am trying to get an Apple-branded Atheros wireless A/B/G (AR5006EXS) card to work with Mac OS X. However, I get nothing but an error about AtherosController.cpp : loaded unsuccessfully. The card works fine in Linux and Windows, so it's not defective, and I managed to get my friend's Broadcom 4311 card to work in OSX, so it's probably not the PCIe bus.
