ok...lets assume that one has used dd to extract a Vmware img to a disk. This installed and runs OSX on a system sans vmware. How would one go about changing the passwords that were already preset and unknown for two users...lets call them curtis & deadmoo. I tried booting in to single user mode in darwin, but the passwd command doesn't do jack and never give you the opportunity to enter a password. Don't know a lot about Darwin or OSX and looking for help.
Thanks,
sgtstadanko
