elenore19 Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 My keyboard doesn't work after I had opened up the computer to replace hard drive. What could cause my keyboard to not work? The power button and mouse work fine. The keyboard just doesn't work. The backlight works on the keyboard when the light sensors pickup darkness. Could I have damaged the main ribbon just where the keyboard part of the cable ran? Or does it have to be an issue in the keyboard and its own ribbon cable connected to the main.
