elenore19 Posted May 30, 2009 Share Posted May 30, 2009 So I replaced my hard drive in my Macbook pro, turned it on and keyboard doesn't work, and also when I put in my OS X cd it doesn't load at all (I assume I had to press a certain key on the keyboard, but not sure). Question:So if I damaged the ribbon cable between the keyboard part of computer and main board, is there ANY way to repair it? The power button still works. Is there anything else that could be causing this issue? Just to clarify, I reinstalled the old hard drive and the keyboard didn't work there either. SticMAC External keyboard in sequence with it? as in a usb keyboard? If so, I'll try it out right now. I'll try booting up with the laptop keyboard connected, and then without it connected.
