Velocium Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 Hello, I've done some extensive searching on this topic but I keep coming to a dead end. I have guid partition table xps m1330 laptop with windows 7 rc7100 and Vanilla OsX 10.5.7 installed. Both work fine with the windows 7 bootloader to switch between systems. I want to use VMWare fusion to boot of the windows 7 partition while in OSx but after following the guide here i keep getting the error that VMware cannot preprocess the bootcamp partition properly and the virtual machine does not run. I tried all sorts of variations to get this to work but some people seem to have success. This is more of a record of my attempt unless someone has done this successfully. Thanks for your help.
