robo456
Hey guys... I've been reading thru multiple posts and really haven't found the same situation I am in. Basically, I have a fully (well 99.9%) vanilla install of 10.5.6 on my Gigabyte EP45-DS3R and nvidia 8600GT (256mb). I installed the Chameleon 2.0rc1 and it boots flawlessly. I dropped in my old XP drive so I'd be able to "dual boot" since I don't fully trust the OSX install with all my documents and important stuff (yet). Everything works fine if I select the boot 'hard drive' from going thru the boot menu when I'm booting up the machine (F12 key on my mobo) No matter what I seem to do, when I boot with the osx drive, chameleon refuses to see the xp drive, only the osx. What I was wondering is if I can manually add the XP drive to my chameleon boot menu? (osx is disk0, xp is disk1) I was reading thru the dual boot guides, and I could re-format my XP drive and start anew with the GPT partition, but it'd be great if somehow I can keep it two completely separate entities... or I can still choose my boot device when the PC is starting up... Thanks for any info... --rob
