HELP! EasyBCD, Triple Boot GPT/MBR

I have questions about how to install Ubuntu on an HD partition table hybrid GPT / MBR.

My HD:

sda1: EFI partition 200mb

sda2: Partition HFS + - Leopard 10.5.6 Retail

sda3: NTFS partition - Windows 7

sda4: EXT3 partition - Here I intend to install Ubuntu 9 (XFS, mounted at / and swap)

I'm using EasyBCD to switch between OSX and win7 and it works perfectly.

The problem occurs when I install Ubuntu, because when I format the fourth partition on EXT, it seems to modify the MBR.

I believe that Grub does not support GPT hybrid partition table / MBR, but I could not find information on whether this also occurs in version 9. I have read that there are people who use Lilo instead of grub for this, but have not much experience with Linux.

In any case, I readed that you need to install grub in the linux partition itself, or do not let it install where it does so by default, but ...

The first time I did so and after restarting, it's not as if no OS were installed.

I could go back into OSX using cdboot, but did not know how to fix it. It also resulted in the impossibility to format the partitions from OSX, an error appears when I try.

After reinstalling everything again (yes, all three OSs) I let grub be installed where it wants, but by mistake, I don´t let it to recognize other OSs I left when grub asked, and therefore could only enter Ubuntu. In any case I think that it only detects windows.

Again, after this I could not format partitions with OSX (entering with cdboot, or with install DVD): an error appeared.

I doubt whether this method could come back to windows and repair the MBR with EasyBCD and add an entry to Ubuntu.

EasyBCD also includes a choice for load Ubuntu without Grub, so I wonder if you could install ubuntu without grub.

Anyway, I need help on how to install Ubuntu now, having the other two SOs already installed (for the third time)

Any help would be apreciated. Thank you.
