Please help!

Installed all the files and drivers from the other threads; Reinstalled everything MULTIPLE times; Tried what ScrotumC did to make his card work... NOTHING!

I have the DVI/VGA dongle plugged in.... Motmot gives me kernel panics.

AND after all this, I boot into Blue Screen... Uninstall natit and X2000 files, and it boots....

If I don't install the x2000 file, it boots into OSX with my native resolution, but QE and CI are not working....

Please please please, help me get it to work... I've browsed through every single thread, and netkas's blog for 3 days now... and I can't get it to work...

NETKAS, земляк... помоги!!!

I've been trying for days too.

The Natit that ScrotumC uses and linked just gives me a lot of appledecrypt errors when booting with -v and a screen that tells me to restart without -v.

Without that or with older Natit-versions that probably aren't hex patched for 4830(?) I just get black screen.

With aty_motmot and those natits I get garbage or grey screen. OpenGL.frameworks have little or no effect.

I think it's rumored that 10.5.7 update will get released this weekend, so maybe that will give us remedy at last.

These are exactly the problems I have.... And I really hope we can get our cards to work with 10.5.7...

ScrotumC did something different, but he is not sharing what exactly he did.... I've been posting in every thread here for a few days now, asking for help... and I keep getting ignored.

I have a Sapphire card btw, with 2 DVI and a S-video outputs.

I kinda think that the problem is with the Natit, since even if I DON'T have any ATIRadeonX2* kexts installed, it's STILL a no go. If the Natit would load properly, I think/hope the problem would be solved.

I studied the Natit and thought that the problem might be with the rom-images that are embedded there for 4850 and higher cards. Maybe we need one of those too. Or maybe it tries to load one of those on the 4830 which leads to failure ofcourse.

But this is just guessing, since I'm no expert and don't really understand completely the architecture.

Don't know what's different with ScrotumC's setup/files, but I'd sure like to know ;)
