lordnikon1 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 hi all! i have the ati of the title, i suppose that the problem of this card are the output connectors (1DVI, 1HDMI and 1VGA) i followed a tutorial by netkas to support itù 1)installed the package 10,5,7 driver 2) replaced aty_motmot.kext 3) replaced natit.kext last version A) reboot and wow!!! the card works perfectly at 1920x1080! play games! play hd movies! yuhuuuu!! REBOOT and then the disaster..... screen in sleeping mode.... ok no problem, boot with -s, delete natit.kext and atiradeonx2000.kext, login and reinstall all the stuff, reboot and: now repeat from the A) after some experiment i've understand that the problem is the atiradeonx2000.kext, if i replace it than reboot and it works, but if i reboot again i get sleep mode screen! the only way i found to solve the problem is to write a sh script that copy a fresh atiradeonx2000.kext and set right permissions, and execute it automatically on logout using "defaults" parameters (LogoutHook event) its not a happy solution... i hope that in this thread all that have problem with "still here vga" cards can solve the problem! thank you! and sorry for the "trash" english Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
