sumit.s47 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Hi, I own a Dell Inspiron 1525, Core2 Duo 2.00 GHz T6400, 2 GB RAM. I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on my laptop. As seen in the instructions, I encountered a blank screen during the installation process. However as complying to the tips, I shut the lid of my laptop and plugged out the power cable, waited for 15 mins and opened the lid again. And the installation resumed. Unfortunately, even during normal boot-up I encounter a similar problem. A blue screen appears, soon followed by the blank screen. If I follow the same procedure of closing the lid, it does resume to normal operation in the course of 15 mins. But this is absolutely hectic and certainly seems abnormal. And also, ethernet, usb ports, sound, bluetooth and wireless dont work on my laptop. Please suggest a solution. Should I reinstall the OS, if so, please enlist the steps which I should follow elaborately, since I am not extremely experienced in handling computers. Please reply!!!
