Hello guys =

I'm a newbie here !
I have installed Leopard and made the upgrades for 10.5.4 (I didn't try to have the 10.5.6 because it seems to be more complicated and for now all seems to be working on my OSX).
But unfortunately the thing that doesn't work for me is the thing which made me want to install Kalyway because I love music and Garage Band was a software I wanted to try, and it is the external microphone.
I searched but I didn't find out how to have my microphone working.

If someone could help me with that problem, I would be very happy :thumbsdown_anim:

Have a nice day, and excuse me for my poor english,

Ben.

Processeur : Intel Q9450
Carte Mere : Asus Maximus Formula
Memoire : 2Go DDR800
Disque dur : SATA Samsung Spinpoint F1 1To
Carte graphique : Asus 8800 GTS 512

Still no answer, nobody can help me? :P

I am not sure, your soundchip appears to be a ADI 1988B?

If so try this: http://######.com/in...=...2&Itemid=74

Heard a lot of people had problems with ADI 1988B and the microphone, so mit might not work.
If it doen't work get a cheap usb soundcard (20 euro) that will fix it.
