hi all,,
i'm not a developer, by any stretch of the imagination, but i was wandering,,,
how do you go about making a 64 bit kernel extension, if you have the source code of a 32 bit extension?
is it possible? or are you required to rewrite everything?
i really don't know if i'm asking the world, or if it's a relatively simple procedure, but, is anyone out there prepared to offer me some tips or pointers?
thanks in advance.

It all depends on the source...

i can't help but notice that you have an 8400m gs graphics card....
this is the source of my problem....i either need an efi string for this card (with which i've had no success), or a 64 bit version of natit/nvinject to try.....(mines 128mb)
i have obtained the source code for natit and nvinject 0.2.2, but i'm out of my depth.....
