Fmstrat
Hey guys, I've built up a ton of OSX machines using NVidia cards that work great. However, I have one machine with a Sapphire HD3870 card that's driving me nuts with a weird delay issue. So, if I open up Photoshop CS4, and then open the color picker by click on one of the color boxes in the tools pallet, everything appears fine. If I click and drag the mouse around in the colored area, it reacts very slowly. On my nvidia machines, the color changes instantly as I drag the mouse around. On the ATI machine, it doesn't change until I stop moving the mouse. I've also noticed slow downs on other dialogs. I also notice on the NVidia machines, CPU doesn't change when the palet is open, but on the ATI machine, one of the cores is at about 15% usage. OpenGL in CS4 settings have no effect on the issue. Qe/CI are working. Stats on the ATI Machine: iDeneb 10.5.5 (Updated to 10.5.6, problem persists) Voodoo 9.6.0 kernel Photoshop CS4 11.0 (updated to 11.0.1, problem persists) lastExile's ATI driver package from: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107526 Intel Q8300 Gigabyte GA-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128358EP45-UD3P Sapphire HD 3750 512MB 8GB RAM
