Parallels Beta 6

I've not yet had success with any release of Parallels. The closest I've gotten is almost being able to finish installing XP. Beta 6 has made this even worse, the application wont load now. I get this error:

"Parallels Workstation is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Try to restart the application to overcome this issue. If restart doesn't help, re-install Parallels Workstation."

Using it since I got my mail from them. It finally support ActiveSync 4.1 and my WM2003 pda phone . Now I'm just waiting for usb webcam support and Skype will be running with video.

I wonder if they take any considerations with people giving feedback using non-Apple hardware. Anyway, if they they do read this, when adding 2 serial ports the application eats up 100% of CPU time. Adding a parallel port eats 7%-10% of cpu time.

I'm still waiting for xgl-server/compiz support under Linux host.

Beta 6 works like a charm for me. They have been doing great since Beta 3, with the exception of some serious virtual memory bug that caused a huge number of kernel panics in Beta 5. With beta 6, once you get the IP issues sorted, works like a charm.

I noticed the following problem after upgrading to beta 6. The mouse pointer did not appear when in the Parallels Workstation window. I opened the advanced display preferences in Windows XP, and turned the accelleration slider down a notch on the Troubleshooting tab. This fixed it.
