DjNels Posted April 22, 2009 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Hi, I have 10.5.6 on a Gateway MX6030 and was looking for drivers to allow proper display. Presently I cannot use a 16:9 resolution. It only gives me 1024x768. If I boot using "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32", it will not work. I can, however, boot to 1280x1024, but that is not the 16:9 aspect ratio I would like. I've searched but found no definite guide to getting this controller working, though I bet someone has. So I was wondering if anyone has any information on any KEXTs that would work with this as I know some have successfully modified plist files in KEXTs for similar graphics controllers. DralucardliosX Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 hmmm i have the same graphic card as you have, but i think the maximum output for the graphic card is 1024x768 its an old graphic card by intel, try using tiger by jas 10.4 although the graphic card is not supported, it really works fast... im still looking for the graphic card driver now...
