Link155
So I finally got a stable system to be able to run OSX 10.5.6 with everything working 100%. It's currently sitting on a P4, 2GB ram, and an old pci-e ATI x300. Everything is working perfectly, except the animations are laggy (maximizing, moving large windows, etc.). And from plenty of experience on the windows side, this usually suggests the video card not being up to par with everything else. Currently even watching a non-hd youtube video is giving me very low fps, and it gets better when I scroll down the page to a point where I can not see the video). So I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions for a 'most supported' graphics card. I'm looking for something not too expensive (I just want to be able to watch a few youtube videos, or maybe an HD video in youtube with any lag). But also the card that will require the least ammoutn of work to get it up and running. My native res is 1680x1050, but every modern card supports well above that. Any help would be appreciated!
