grinner Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 Hello, I just installed an iDeneb 10.5.5. Distro on my Asus R1F and on install included the Atheros WiFi driver package. I had previously swapped the intel WiFi card with the an Atheros AR5008E card. After the install I tried to connect to my local WiFi (which it found and correctly identified as WPA encrypted (not WPA2) ). I entered the password and it just said it failed to connect. I tried using WEP and WPA2 on my WiFi router with the same results. If I simply run it unencrypted the connection works perfectly.
