[SOLVED] ATI HD3650 without QE

SOLVED. I'll post solution later! Full QE/CI but some resolution issues. Can't add all native resolutions.

 

Hello everyone,

 

I've been reading and making tests for a long time without success. I have an ATI Radeon HD3650 PCIe running with Intel processor. First, I was unable to install OS X 10.5.6 because of video problems. When I install HD3650 driver with iCHx chipset the OS X don't start. Now I use Apple iCHx chipset and my video works, but with NO QE SUPPORT AT ALL.

 

How do I install a good driver (Natit don't work for me, it removes all native resolutions) or enable Quartz Extreme on this Netkas driver for ATI HD3650 PCIe (Intel) that came with iPC installer?

I have read through all posts and tried your solution, it didn't work in my case.

I used iPC X-DL 10.5.6 on my GA-p43-es4g, E7400 2.8G C2D, 4G DDR2, ASUS HD3650 512MB PCIe configuration.

It works well in every aspect, except QE / CI., which I just needed it for video and my Plex system to be.

 

Do you have any advise?

 

By the way, I used the low-re file., the QE still not supported, CI is Software.

I also had similar problem, installed iPC 10.5.6, graphics is working fine except for the QE support. It is surprising that when I installed iATKOS 5i and upgraded to 10.5.7 I was getting QE but the sytem was running very slow and this was not acceptable, so moved back to 10.5.6. Now no QE. Any body can help me in enabling the QE for ATI HD-3650 PCIe cards. Please give step by step guide as it will be helpful for most of the newbies like me.
